Honey in Ayurveda

In Ayurveda, honey is known as Madhu and is described in classical texts such as the Charaka Samhita and Bhavaprakasha Nighantu as a valued daily food and as the classical anupana (carrier) taken alongside many herbal preparations. Storage & Crystallisation

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight; keep tightly sealed and do not refrigerate. If your honey crystallises, stand the closed jar in warm water and stir gently to re-liquefy.
