Dr. Riddhish Padiya — Founder, Riddhish Herbals
The Story Behind Riddhish Herbals
A family rooted in both healing and business, classical Ayurvedic education, and product ideas shaped at the shop counter.

The Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical Scientist Behind the Brand
Dr. Riddhish Padiya, founder of Riddhish Herbals, studied Ayurvedic pharmacy and pharmacognosy. He holds B.Pharm Ayurveda, M.Pharm Ayurveda, and a Ph.D. in Ayurvedic Pharmacy from ITRA, Jamnagar — formerly IPGT&RA, Gujarat Ayurved University.
This academic foundation lets us look at Ayurveda with both classical understanding and modern quality thinking. It shows up in everything we do: product selection, own-brand development, ingredient sourcing, customer education, and day-to-day retail practice.
Professional Experience
Why We Started — A Family of Healing & Business
Riddhish Herbals did not begin only as a career decision. It grew out of a family background rooted in both medicine and business — and a clear intention to build something that lasts for generations, not just a venture that runs for a few years.
Dr. Padiya did not want his Ayurvedic expertise to stay confined to a research lab, or to remain only one name in a large research team. The goal was to take that knowledge into the real world — to develop actual products, build a business, and create a brand and identity of his own. Research mattered, but research that reaches people’s hands matters more.
And to do that honestly, you first have to understand the market and the customer. There is no shortcut to that understanding. So we began where Ayurveda actually meets people every day — at retail.
A Multi-Brand Ayurvedic Store
The idea was simple but ambitious for the area: bring a “mall culture” experience to Ayurveda — a clean, organised, multi-brand walk-in store where customers could explore classical formulations, herbal cosmetics, wellness products, and healthy food options all in one place.
Running this store was never only about selling. It was our school. Every day at the counter taught us what people actually search for, which products they trust, where confusion exists, and which wellness needs the market does not answer well. We gathered this experience and data first — before developing a single product of our own.
Learning From Real Customer Needs
Riddhish Herbals deals with 4000+ products across standard Ayurvedic companies, herbal cosmetics, health foods, and wellness categories. That breadth gives us a ground-level read of the Ayurvedic market that very few brands have before they start manufacturing.
Many of our product ideas were not born from theory. When the same question is asked again and again, it stops being a request and becomes a signal. We study that gap carefully — and if a genuinely useful Ayurvedic product is missing, or could be made more practical, we work toward a solution.
From the Shelf to Our Own Products
Because we had spent years watching how people actually use Ayurvedic products, our own-brand journey started from confidence, not guesswork. Our very first products were single-herb raw-material powders in convenient 100g pouch packs — beginning with everyday movers like Harde, Triphala and Amla, alongside harder-to-find herbs like Baheda churna that big companies rarely stock.
We launched around 20 churnas under our own brand, all already proven at our retail counter. Then, slowly and steadily, we extended the range to cover most commonly used raw-material powders — each one backed by authentic sourcing, authentic processing, and clean, reliable packaging. Big companies focus on fast-movers like Haritaki, Triphala, Sudarshan and Hingwashtak, while useful single herbs such as Baheda, Punarnava and Nili churna stay hard to find in a trustworthy format. That is the gap we fill.
The same counter-tested thinking guides the rest of our range:
Mud Wash Powder
Inspired by traditional and naturopathy-based skin care — made without harsh foaming agents or unnecessary synthetic fragrance.
Trikatu Syrup
Prepared with traditional ingredients like jaggery, cumin and raw honey collected directly from beekeepers.
Hair Oil
Fitted with a fine-nozzle dispenser designed to reach the scalp easily, with minimal spillage.
Scalp-Care Oil
Inspired by traditional Ayurvedic hair care — kept focused on herbs, without unnecessary additives.

Online & Global
Even with this growth, our core philosophy is unchanged: stay connected to real users, respect classical Ayurvedic principles, and keep improving through quality-focused thinking.
An Authorised E-Commerce Seller
Beyond our own brand, Riddhish Herbals is an officially authorised online seller for 12+ established Ayurvedic brands. Backed by official authorisation letters from these manufacturers, we list, sell and distribute their products across leading e-commerce platforms — including Amazon, Flipkart and 1mg — giving trusted Ayurvedic brands a verified, legitimate route to customers across India.
Knowledge That Backs the Brand
During his academic and research journey, Dr. Riddhish Padiya authored and co-authored 14+ peer-reviewed research papers on medicinal plants, quality standards, pharmacognosy, and Ayurvedic pharmaceutics. While the main focus today is building Riddhish Herbals, this published work remains a living reference for students, practitioners, and researchers — and it is all openly available on Google Scholar.
Our Promise to Every Customer
At Riddhish Herbals, Ayurveda is not just a product category. It is a living knowledge system that deserves to be understood with respect, presented with honesty, and adapted thoughtfully for modern users. We are not here to make exaggerated claims — we are here to make Ayurvedic wellness more understandable, accessible, and trustworthy.
“Our products are shaped not only by Ayurvedic study, but by what real customers ask us for, every single day.”
