About Brahmi Vati Gold -- Virgo

Virgo UAP Pharma Pvt. Ltd. is the modern, quality-certified manufacturing company behind this formulation -- backed by the UNJHA legacy of over 100 years of trust and quality in Ayurveda, as printed on the product itself. Incorporated in 2011 by Chairman Mr. Prabodh Shah and Managing Director Mr. Darshan Shah, Virgo holds AYUSH Standard Mark, GMP, ISO-9001, and ISO-22000 certifications -- all confirmed on the product label -- and has received the Indian Achievers Award for Industrial Development.

Brahmi Vati Gold (Suvarna-Mukta Yukta) is a classical Ayurvedic Medhya Rasayana tablet referenced in the Sidhdha Yoga Sangrah (S.Y.S.). Each 125 mg uncoated tablet contains 35 active ingredients -- all label-verified with full botanical names, A.P.I./A.B. grade specifications, and per-tablet quantities -- including Suvarna Bhasma (Rasamritam -- 3.416 mg), Mukta Pisti (3.416 mg), Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri A.P.I. -- 8.854 mg), and Kesar (Crocus sativus -- 8.854 mg).

Brand Heritage -- UNJHA: Over 100 Years of Trust and Quality in Ayurveda

The UNJHA name on the Virgo product badge represents over a century of continuous Ayurvedic tradition in Gujarat. Virgo UAP Pharma Pvt. Ltd. was established to carry this heritage forward with modern GMP-certified manufacturing -- adding automated production lines, dedicated R&D (UV-Visible Spectrophotometry, Karl-Fischer Auto Titrator, Soxhlet Extractor), and international quality certifications, while preserving every classical Ayurvedic principle inherited from the UNJHA tradition.

AYUSH Standard Mark and Quality Certifications

Virgo Brahmi Vati Gold is an AYUSH Standard Mark Certified Product -- a voluntary quality certification under the AYUSH Mark Certification Scheme, operated by the Quality Council of India (QCI) under the Ministry of AYUSH. This certification is based on Schedule T of the Drugs & Cosmetics Rules, 1945 (GMP standards for Ayurvedic medicines) and confirms GMP-based manufacturing, batch-wise quality traceability, and compliance with domestic AYUSH regulatory requirements. This is an additional certification beyond the standard AYUSH manufacturing licence. Also confirmed on label: GMP Certified · ISO-9001 · ISO-22000.

Traditional Ayurvedic Importance

Brahmi Vati Gold belongs to the Medhya Rasayana class of classical preparations -- traditionally valued in Ayurveda for nourishing Majja Dhatu (nervous tissue) and Manas (mind). The Suvarna-Mukta Yukta designation indicates both Suvarna Bhasma (processed gold, Rasamritam method) and Mukta Pisti (processed pearl) are present -- two of the most revered Rasayana minerals in classical Rasashastra. Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri), designated Medhya Rasayana in Charaka Samhita, is processed here using Brahmi Swarasa (whole plant juice, A.P.I. grade) as the classical Bhavana vehicle. Trivrit (Operculina turpethum -- 8.854 mg) serves the classical Anulomana function within the Rasayana compound.
