About Haridra Khand
Haridra Khand is a classical Ayurvedic Khand — a milk-and-sugar-based herbal confection — referenced in Bhaishajya Ratnavali, with Haridra (turmeric, Curcuma longa) as its primary ingredient. It is among the most loved traditional preparations for skin wellness and Pitta balance, its pleasant taste making it easy to take daily. Manufactured by Vedant Pharma and supplied by Riddhish Herbals, Gujarat's trusted Ayurvedic store since 2015.
Traditional Ayurvedic Importance
Haridra is described in classical texts as Kushtaghna (skin wellness), Varnya (complexion-supporting) and Rasayana. In the Khand format, the herb is carried in a milk, ghee and sugar base that follows the classical Anupana principle, traditionally used by Ayurvedic physicians in routines supporting skin wellness and Kapha-Pitta balance. The supporting spices and Triphala group round out a complete classical formulation as described in Bhaishajya Ratnavali.
