Trailokya Chintamani Ras is one of the most elaborate gold-bearing Rasaushadhi of Rasashastra, recorded in the Rasa Tantra Sara (R.T.S.-1). It carries Rasasindur (the Kupipakwa mercurial sublimate) with Hira Bhasma (diamond), Suvarna (gold), Raupya (silver), Tamra (copper), Loha (iron) and Abhrak (mica) Bhasma, Vaikrant, and purified Tankan, Vatsanabha and Manahshila (Mansil), levigated in a series of classical herbal Bhavana.

The Rasashastra behind it
These are Rasaushadhi — medicines of Rasashastra, the classical Ayurvedic pharmacy of processed metals and minerals. Each metal passes through Shodhana (purification) and Marana (incineration into a Bhasma); mercurial preparations pass additionally through Kajjali and Kupipakwa. What the Samskara yields is a new, nanocrystalline substance, not the raw metal that entered the furnace. Peer-reviewed X-ray diffraction of Vasant Kusumakar Rasa — a different classical preparation, which we also stock — identified cinnabar, cassiterite, massicot and magnetite as the phases its Samskara produces, and two of those do not bear on this medicine at all: cassiterite and massicot arise from that formula's Vanga and Naga Bhasma, neither of which is present in Trailokya Chintamani Ras. The two findings that do bear on this formula are cinnabar — the α-mercuric sulphide phase of its own Rasasindur, exactly the dravya the study credits it to — and magnetite, the iron-oxide phase of its own Loha Bhasma.
Traditional Ayurvedic importance
Classical Rasashastra places Trailokya Chintamani among the Brihat (major) Vata-Vyadhi Rasayana, traditionally recorded in the Rasa Tantra Sara and reserved for administration under close physician supervision. Its purified Vatsanabha and Manahshila are classical Rasashastra dravya used only after Shodhana and in minute, physician-set quantity.

How to Use
As printed on the pack: 1 to 2 tablets twice a day with Honey or Milk (Anupana), or as advised by the physician. Because this preparation contains classically purified Vatsanabha and Manahshila, the exact dose and duration are set only by your Vaidya.
