Madhurantak Vati (Mukta Yukta) by Virgo UAP Pharma is a classical Ayurvedic herbo-mineral tablet (Vati) of the R.T.S.-1 class. Each uncoated 125 mg tablet is built around Mukta Pishti (prepared from pearl) and Abhrak Bhasma (processed mica), together with Keshar, Jatiphal, Javantri, Lavang and Tulsi, and is finished by Bhavana in Adrak Rasa (fresh ginger juice). It is a Bhasma-based Rasaushadhi that a qualified Ayurvedic physician prescribes and monitors. Sold by Riddhish Herbals, Gujarat — genuine Virgo UAP Pharma stock, with a bill on every purchase.

About Madhurantak Vati (Mukta Yukta)

Madhurantak Vati (Mukta Yukta) is a classical herbo-mineral Vati from Virgo UAP Pharma Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad. It belongs to the R.T.S.-1 group of Ayurvedic formulations, and each uncoated tablet carries 125 mg of active dravyas. The words Mukta Yukta (also written Moti Yukta) tell you what sets this version apart: it is made with Mukta Pishti, the pearl preparation.

Two of the eight actives are Rasaushadhi — Mukta Pishti and Abhrak Bhasma. The rest are aromatic classical herbs: Keshar (saffron), Jatiphal and Javantri (the seed and the mace of nutmeg), Lavang (clove) and Tulsi. The whole blend is then given Bhavana — wet trituration — in Adrak Rasa, the fresh juice of ginger, which is also the Anupan the pack prescribes.

Riddhish Herbals stocks this as a trusted Virgo UAP Pharma product. Virgo UAP Pharma is the manufacturer and brand owner (Ayurvedic manufacturing licence GA/1696); we are the store that sources it, bills it, and helps you buy the right thing with proper advice.

How the Rasaushadhi Is Prepared

A Bhasma or a Pishti is not the raw material it starts from. Mukta Pishti is made by taking Shuddha (purified) pearl and triturating it, over many cycles, with a cooling liquid such as rose water, until it becomes an impalpably fine, cool pishti. Abhrak Bhasma begins as raw mica, which is first purified (Shodhana) and then taken through Marana — repeated levigation and incineration in sealed crucibles (Puta) — until it is reduced to a soft, fine Bhasma that no longer behaves like the mineral it came from.

Modern instrumentation agrees with what the classical process describes. Characterisation work on Abhraka (mica) Bhasma using electron microscopy and diffraction has shown that the classical Marana steps take the mineral down to the nanoscale — a genuine physical transformation, not merely a fine powder (Wele A et al., 2021, Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine; PMID 33402266).

The final Bhavana in Adrak Rasa binds the herbs and the Rasaushadhi together and, in classical Bhaishajya Kalpana, is held to make the blend easier for the body to take up. That is why fresh ginger juice appears both inside the tablet and as the Anupan taken alongside it.

Traditional Ayurvedic Importance of the Ingredients

Mukta Pishti, prepared from pearl, is described in Rasa Shastra as Sheeta (cooling), Pittashamana (Pitta-pacifying) and Dahaprashamana — classically valued where there is a sense of internal heat. It is the cooling anchor of this formulation.

Abhrak Bhasma is described in Rasa Tarangini as a Rasayana Bhasma, traditionally used in classical practice as a restorative that supports strength and vitality when prescribed by a Vaidya. At 27.778 mg it is the single largest active in the tablet.

Keshar (Crocus sativus, saffron) is a prized Ayurvedic dravya, described in Ashtanga Hridayam among the Varnya (complexion-supporting) and Medhya (intellect-supporting) substances, and classically counted as Pittashamana.

Jatiphal (nutmeg seed) and Javantri (its mace), both from Myristica fragrans, are the warm, aromatic Deepana–Pachana pair of the formula — classically described as kindling Agni and supporting comfortable digestion. Lavang (Syzygium aromaticum, clove) is Deepana and Rochana (appetising and taste-restoring).

Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum) is among the most revered household dravyas of Ayurveda, valued across daily practice; a wide-ranging review has catalogued its traditionally recognised properties (Cohen MM, 2014, Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine; PMID 25624701).

Research on the Constituents

Reproduced exactly as printed on the manufacturer's insert. The label lists Javantri (mace of Myristica fragrans) in two graded quantities; both are shown here as printed, and the eight actives together make up the 125 mg tablet. Reference codes are the pack's own pharmacopoeial notations. Variable data — batch number, manufacturing and expiry dates, and printed MRP — live on the physical pack and are not reproduced here.

How to Use

Dose: 1 to 2 tablets twice a day with Adrak Rasa, or as directed by your Ayurvedic physician — exactly as printed on the pack. Anupan (vehicle): Adrak Rasa, the fresh juice of ginger (Zingiber officinale), which classical texts pair with Bhasma preparations to support Agni and absorption. Because two of the actives are Rasaushadhi, the right dose and the length of the course are decided for you by your physician, not by the pack.

Who Can Use It

Madhurantak Vati (Mukta Yukta) is intended for adults, taken under the guidance of a qualified Ayurvedic physician. If you are pregnant or lactating, take it only on a physician's advice. For children, the dose and suitability are decided by a qualified Ayurvedic physician — not from the pack. Anyone on regular medication, or managing an ongoing health condition, should speak to their physician before starting.

Safety Information

Bhasma and Bhasma-based Ayurvedic medicines are to be used under strict medical supervision only. That is the standard practice for this class of medicine, and the instruction the manufacturer prints on the pack. Your Vaidya matches the preparation, the dose and the duration to you — to your Prakriti, your Agni and your condition — which is something no pack and no web page can do.

Use strictly under the guidance of a qualified Ayurvedic physician. Consult your physician before use, especially if you are pregnant, lactating, taking any medication, or managing any medical condition. Keep out of reach of children. Results may vary from person to person.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture, with the cap closed firmly after use. Bhasma-containing tablets take up moisture easily, so keep the container tightly sealed. Keep out of reach of children. Use before the expiry date printed on the pack.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Madhurantak Vati (Mukta Yukta) an AYUSH- or GMP-certified product?

It is manufactured by Virgo UAP Pharma Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, under Ayurvedic manufacturing licence GA/1696. We add an AYUSH Standard Mark or a GMP line to a listing only when we have verified it on that physical pack; for this item we have confirmed the licence number and the label composition, and we do not add certification wording beyond what the pack shows. Ask us and we will check the current pack for you.

Can I take Madhurantak Vati without consulting a doctor?

This is a Bhasma-based Rasaushadhi — it contains Mukta Pishti and Abhrak Bhasma — and the pack itself says it is to be taken with medical supervision. Please consult a qualified Ayurvedic physician, who will confirm whether it suits you and set your dose.

What does ‘Mukta Yukta’ mean?

Mukta Yukta — also written Moti Yukta — means ‘containing Mukta’, that is, made with Mukta Pishti, the pearl preparation. It is how this version is distinguished on the pack. The product is also written as Madhurantak Vati, Madhuranak Vati and Madurantak Vati in everyday searches.

What is Mukta Pishti and why is it in this formula?

Mukta Pishti is a classical Ayurvedic preparation made from purified pearl, triturated to an impalpably fine, cooling powder. In Rasa Shastra it is described as Sheeta and Pittashamana, and here it gives the blend its cooling, Pitta-pacifying character.

What is Abhrak Bhasma, and how much is in each tablet?

Abhrak Bhasma is a classical Bhasma prepared from purified and repeatedly incinerated mica. Each tablet contains 27.778 mg — the largest single active in the formula. It is classically described in Rasa Tarangini as a Rasayana Bhasma.

What is the correct Anupan and dose?

The pack states 1 to 2 tablets twice a day with Adrak Rasa (fresh ginger juice), or as directed by your Ayurvedic physician. Adrak Rasa is the classical Anupan for this Vati and is also used inside it as the Bhavana liquid.

Is this the same as Vasant Kusumakar Rasa or Rasaraj Rasa?

No. Those are separate Suvarna (gold) Rasaushadhi. Madhurantak Vati (Mukta Yukta) shares the Mukta Pishti component with them, but has its own distinct composition, which is printed in full on this page and taken from the label.

Is it available at Riddhish Herbals, and is it genuine?

Yes. Madhurantak Vati (Mukta Yukta) by Virgo UAP Pharma is available at riddhishherbals.com and at our Gujarat stores. Every order is genuine Virgo stock with a bill provided. Since 2015 · Genuine Products · Bill Provided · Doctor-Guided Selection · Pan-India Delivery.

How should I store it?

Keep it in a cool, dry place, tightly closed and away from moisture, since Bhasma-containing tablets absorb damp easily. Keep out of reach of children and use it before the expiry date on the pack.

Has any research looked at the Bhasma and herbs in it?

Independent Indian research has characterised how the classical Marana process converts mica into Abhraka Bhasma at the nanoscale (Wele A et al., 2021, J. Ayurveda & Integrative Medicine; PMID 33402266), and a wide-ranging review has catalogued the traditionally recognised properties of Tulsi (Cohen MM, 2014, same journal; PMID 25624701). These describe the substances; they are not medical claims, and results may vary.
