About Lekhani Capsule — Ayucare

The name Lekhani comes from the Sanskrit Lekhana — the classical “scraping” action that Ayurveda attributes to a specific group of herbs and minerals used in Sthaulya (excess-weight) and Medoroga contexts. This Ayucare formulation brings several of those traditional Lekhaniya and Deepana-Pachana (digestive-kindling) herbs together in a single daily capsule.

At Riddhish Herbals we stock genuine Ayucare products with a proper bill, and our Ayurvedic physicians are available to guide whether this formulation suits your constitution before you buy. That is the Riddhish Herbals way since 2015. This is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine intended as part of a balanced routine — not a substitute for diet, activity, or physician advice.

Traditional Ayurvedic Importance

Shuddha Guggul (Commiphora mukul, purified) — 100 mg. The principal ingredient. Classically described in Ayurvedic texts for its Lekhana (scraping) and Medohara (fat-reducing) actions, and traditionally used in Medoroga and Kapha-balancing routines.

Trikatu (Shunthi, Maricha, Pippali) — 30 mg. The classical three-pungents blend, traditionally valued as Deepana (appetiser) and Pachana (digestive) — standard Ayurvedic action words for kindling Agni and supporting Ama-pachana.

Triphala — 30 mg. The three-fruit classical trio (Amalaki, Haritaki, Bibhitaki), traditionally used to support regular digestion and gentle daily balance.

Vidanga (Embelia ribes) — 30 mg & Maha Sudarshan Churna — 30 mg. Both are long-standing classical Ayurvedic ingredients; Vidanga is traditionally described as Krimighna and digestive, and Maha Sudarshan is a classical multi-herb formulation used in seasonal wellness routines.

Supporting herbs. Arjuna bark (Terminalia arjuna), Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia), Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa), Berberis aristata (Daruharidra), Methi (Trigonella foenum-graecum), Pashanbhed (Bergenia ligulata), Apamarg (Achyranthes aspera), Erand (Ricinus communis), Moringa (Moringa oleifera) and Kasis Bhasma — a spread of classical Deepana, Pachana and Rasayana herbs traditionally combined in Lekhaniya routines.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Lekhani Capsule?

Lekhani Capsule by Ayucare Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd. is a proprietary Ayurvedic herbal formulation built around the classical Lekhana (scraping) principle. It combines Shuddha Guggul, Trikatu, Triphala and thirteen other traditional herbs, and is taken as part of a daily routine to support metabolism and digestion. Available at Riddhish Herbals with genuine billing.

What does “Lekhani” mean?

It comes from the Sanskrit Lekhana, the classical Ayurvedic term for the “scraping” action attributed to certain herbs and minerals traditionally used in Sthaulya and Medoroga (excess-weight) contexts. Ingredients like Shuddha Guggul are classically described as Lekhaniya and Medohara.

What are the main ingredients?

The lead ingredient is Shuddha Guggul (100 mg), supported by Arjun, Trikatu, Triphala, Vidang, Giloy, Punarnava, Methi and others — a spread of classical Deepana, Pachana and Lekhaniya herbs, plus Kasis Bhasma. The full label-verified list with quantities and plant parts is in the Ingredients section above.

How do I take it?

1 to 2 capsules twice or thrice daily with warm water, or as directed by your Ayurvedic physician, ideally as part of a balanced routine with sensible diet and activity. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Is it vegetarian?

No. Lekhani Capsule uses a hard gelatin capsule shell, so it is not suitable for vegetarians.

Does it require a prescription?

It is an over-the-counter proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, but we recommend consulting your physician before starting, especially if you are on medication or managing a health condition.

Who makes it, and is it genuine at Riddhish Herbals?

It is manufactured by Ayucare Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd. at Moraiya, Ahmedabad, under Mfg. Lic. No. GA/1491, in a GMP-certified and ISO 9001:2015-certified facility. The AYUSH Standard Mark does not appear on this pack, so we do not claim it. At Riddhish Herbals we stock genuine Ayucare stock with a proper bill, doctor-guided selection and pan-India delivery.

How does the Capsule differ from Lekhani Kashay?

Both follow the same Lekhana principle from Ayucare, but the compositions are not identical. The capsule includes Maha Sudarshan Churna and Kasis Bhasma; the Kashay is a sugar-free liquid that includes Arnimool. Your physician can advise which format suits you.

Have the ingredients been studied scientifically?

Yes. Trikatu — one of the classical components of this blend — and its compound piperine have been the subject of peer-reviewed research on bioavailability and digestion (see the Research section). These are studies of the ingredients, not medical claims about this product; individual results may vary.

How should I store it?

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture, tightly closed after every use, out of reach of children.
