Cordit Tablet by Virgo UAP Pharma is a proprietary Ayurvedic formulation built around Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna) bark, 150 mg per tablet, with Lasun (Allium sativum) 100 mg, Methi (Trigonella foenum-graecum) 75 mg, Shuddha Guggulu (Commiphora wightii) 50 mg, Akik Bhasma 25 mg and Jaharmohra Khatai Pishti 10 mg. Arjuna is the dravya on which this formulation rests: classical Ayurvedic literature places it in the Hridya group, and the Charaka Samhita and Bhavaprakasha Nighantu both describe it under that heading. Because this is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine intended for use under professional guidance, Riddhish Herbals supplies it only with doctor-guided selection and a genuine bill.

About Cordit Tablet — Virgo UAP Pharma
Cordit is a proprietary Ayurvedic tablet from Virgo UAP Pharma Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, built on a small, deliberate ingredient list. Six dravyas, led by Arjuna bark at 150 mg — more than half the active weight of the tablet.
This listing has been rewritten from the ground up. Its previous version made a series of statements that we should never have published, and we have removed them rather than quietly soften them. What follows is what the formulation contains, what the classical texts say about those dravyas, and nothing further. If you want to know whether this preparation is appropriate for you, that is a conversation with a qualified Ayurvedic physician — which is exactly what Riddhish Herbals offers, and has offered since 2015.
The Dravyas, and What the Classical Texts Say
Arjuna — Terminalia arjuna, stem bark, 150 mg. The dominant ingredient. Classical Ayurvedic literature places Arjuna in the Hridya group of dravyas — the Charaka Samhita lists it among the Hridya dravyas, and the Bhavaprakasha Nighantu describes it under the same heading. That is a statement of classical record with its source named. It is not a promise of any outcome, and none is offered here.
Lasun (Rasona) — Allium sativum, 100 mg. Garlic. Classical Ayurveda describes Rasona as Deepana (appetising) and Pachana (digestive), and it appears in the Bhavaprakasha Nighantu among the Rasona-adi dravyas. Deepana and Pachana are ordinary, lawful descriptions of classical pharmacological action.
Methi — Trigonella foenum-graecum, seed, 75 mg. Fenugreek. Another long-standing Deepana-Pachana dravya, rich in soluble mucilage.
Shuddha Guggulu — Commiphora wightii, purified oleo-gum-resin, 50 mg. Classically described as Lekhana (scraping) and Medohara, and one of the most widely used resins in the classical repertoire.
Akik Bhasma — 25 mg. Agate ash, prepared through classical Shodhana and Marana. Rasashastra describes Akik Bhasma as Sheeta (cooling) and places it in the Hridya group.
Jaharmohra Khatai Pishti — 10 mg. Serpentine pishti, levigated in the classical manner. Described in Rasashastra as Sheeta and Pitta-pacifying.
What We Are Not Going to Tell You
The previous version of this page told you a great deal. It made a series of specific medical claims about serious conditions, promised assistance with recovery from a major cardiac event, and assured you the tablet was safe for long-term use.
Every one of those statements has been removed, and we are not replacing them with softer versions of the same thing. Under the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954, a product page may not advertise a medicine as a remedy for the conditions that page named — and beyond the law, a store owned by a physician has no business making promises about a serious organ to a stranger it has never examined.
So here is what we will say instead. This is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine. Its principal dravya is classically grouped as Hridya. Its composition is printed above. Whether it suits you, at what dose, alongside what else you are taking, and for how long — those are questions for a qualified physician who has examined you. Ask us, and we will connect you with one before you buy.
Research on the Constituents
◆ A published monograph on Terminalia arjuna documents its principal constituents: hydrolysable tannins, triterpenoid saponins (arjunic acid, arjunolic acid, arjungenin, arjunglycosides), flavonoids (arjunone, arjunolone, luteolin), gallic and ellagic acid, oligomeric proanthocyanidins, phytosterols, and the minerals calcium, magnesium, zinc and copper — Terminalia arjuna monograph, Alternative Medicine Review (1999) — PMID 10608917.
Results were observed under study conditions. Individual results may vary. This is shared for general educational interest and is not a medical claim. Consult your Ayurvedic physician before use.

How to Use
As directed by your qualified Ayurvedic physician. The existing pack guidance is 2 tablets twice daily, taken after meals with water — but the dose, the duration and whether this formulation is appropriate for you at all are decisions for your physician, not for this page. Do not self-medicate.
Who Can Use It
Adults, under the guidance of a registered Ayurvedic practitioner. Not for pregnancy or lactation. Not for children. If you are taking any medication, or are under the care of a doctor for any condition, do not begin this preparation without telling them. Ayurvedic formulations can interact with conventional medicines, and your physician needs to know.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Cordit Tablet?
Cordit is a proprietary Ayurvedic tablet from Virgo UAP Pharma Pvt. Ltd. Its principal dravya is Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna) stem bark at 150 mg per tablet, with Lasun, Methi, Shuddha Guggulu, Akik Bhasma and Jaharmohra Khatai Pishti. It is intended for use under the guidance of a qualified Ayurvedic physician.
What is in each tablet?
Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna) 150 mg, Lasun (Allium sativum) 100 mg, Methi (Trigonella foenum-graecum) 75 mg, Shuddha Guggulu (Commiphora wightii) 50 mg, Akik Bhasma 25 mg and Jaharmohra Khatai Pishti 10 mg. This composition is carried from the existing listing and awaits reconfirmation against the physical pack — we say so openly rather than imply a verification we have not done.
What do the classical texts say about Arjuna?
Classical Ayurvedic literature places Arjuna in the Hridya group of dravyas. The Charaka Samhita lists it among the Hridya dravyas and the Bhavaprakasha Nighantu describes it under the same heading. That is a statement of classical record with its source named. It is not a promise of any outcome for any condition, and we make none.
Why does this page not say what the product is for?
Because we are not permitted to, and because we should not want to. Indian law — the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954 — prohibits advertising a medicine as a remedy for a range of serious conditions. Beyond the law: a store owned by a physician has no business making promises about a serious organ to someone it has never examined. Speak to our Ayurvedic physicians and they will tell you honestly whether this is right for you.
Can I take Cordit alongside my prescribed medicines?
Only with your doctor's knowledge. Ayurvedic formulations can interact with conventional medicines. Tell your doctor exactly what you are considering, show them this composition, and follow their direction. Never stop or reduce a prescribed medicine in order to take this.
Can I take it without consulting anyone?
We would strongly advise against it. This is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine containing Bhasma and Pishti preparations, not a general wellness supplement. Riddhish Herbals offers doctor-guided selection at no cost — use it.
Has Arjuna been studied scientifically?
Its chemistry has been documented in detail. A published monograph records its principal constituents as hydrolysable tannins, triterpenoid saponins including arjunolic and arjunic acid, flavonoids, gallic and ellagic acid, phytosterols and several minerals (PMID 10608917). That is a characterisation of the plant. It is not a medical claim about this product.
Who manufactures it, and is it genuine at Riddhish Herbals?
It is manufactured by Virgo UAP Pharma Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad. Riddhish Herbals supplies genuine, brand-sealed stock with a proper bill and pan-India delivery. We have stocked Virgo UAP Pharma since 2015.
Is the AYUSH Standard Mark on this pack?
We have not verified it on this pack, so we do not claim it. Where we have confirmed the mark — as on Vasant Kusumakar Rasa — we say so. Where we have not, we say that instead.
How should I store it?
In a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture, tightly closed after every use, out of reach of children.
