About Bhringraj Powder
Few herbs carry a name as telling as this one. Bhringraj — sometimes written Bhringaraj or Bhangra — translates loosely as "king of hair," and Ayurvedic texts have leaned on it for hair and scalp care for well over a thousand years. This is the pure whole-plant powder of Eclipta alba, milled fine and packed at 100 grams. Nothing is blended in. What you see on the label is what is in the pack: Eclipta alba (whole plant) 100%.
Traditional Ayurvedic Importance
Classical Ayurveda groups Bhringraj among the Keshya dravyas — herbs traditionally valued for the hair. It appears in the Bhavaprakasha Nighantu and Raj Nighantu, and the Gujarati compendium Aaryabhishak describes its long-standing use in hair and scalp routines. The plant is also regarded as a Rasayana (rejuvenative) in classical literature. In traditional practice the whole herb — not only the leaf — is used, which is why our label and this listing specify whole plant.

Research and Scientific References
Eclipta alba has been the subject of published research exploring its traditionally recognised role in hair care. In one peer-reviewed study, a whole-plant methanol extract was observed to support hair-growth activity in an animal model under study conditions. — (Datta et al., 2009 — Journal of Ethnopharmacology, 124(3):450–456). Results observed in study conditions. Individual results may vary. Consult your Ayurvedic physician before use.
How to Use
For a hair mask, mix 1–2 teaspoons with water, curd or aloe vera gel into a smooth paste, apply to scalp and lengths, leave 30–40 minutes, then rinse well.
