Neem Pan Powder is a pure, single-herb churna made from the dried leaves (pan) of the neem tree, Azadirachta indica. Every 100 gram pack is 100% neem leaf — no fillers, no fragrance, nothing added. In classical Ayurveda neem leaf is described as tikta (bitter) and sheeta (cooling in potency), and it has been part of Indian skin-care and hair-care routines, and traditional rakta-shodhana (blood-cleansing) practice, for generations.
About Neem Pan Powder
Few herbs sit as deeply in everyday Indian life as neem. The tree is so familiar that most households once kept one in the courtyard, reaching for a handful of leaves at the first sign of an itch or a dull, oily complexion. This powder captures that same leaf in a fine, ready-to-use form. Riddhish Herbals sources it as a clean, honest single ingredient — Azadirachta indica, 100%, and nothing else — so you can fold it into a face pack, a hair mask, or a classical Ayurvedic routine exactly as you prefer.
Traditional Ayurvedic importance
Neem — Nimba in Sanskrit — is one of the most documented herbs in the classical canon. The Bhavaprakasha Nighantu lists its synonyms (Nimba, Pichumarda, Arishta) and records its tikta rasa, sheeta virya and Kapha-Pitta pacifying nature. Across classical literature neem leaf is valued for three traditional actions in particular: kushtaghna (associated with skin wellness), kandughna (associated with relief of itching) and krimighna (the classical anthelmintic action). Because of its cooling, bitter character it has long been the herb Ayurvedic households turn to for a clear complexion and a calm, balanced scalp.

Research & scientific references
Neem leaf has been the subject of published academic reviews exploring its traditionally recognised properties. A review of the medicinal properties of neem leaves summarised its studied antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity. — (Subapriya & Nagini, 2005 — Current Medicinal Chemistry: Anti-Cancer Agents; PMID 15777222)
A separate review focused on the dermatological applications of neem appraised the available literature on its antiseptic and skin-supportive properties. — (Singh et al., 2021 — Recent Advances in Anti-infective Drug Discovery; PMID 34961431)

How to use
As a face pack: mix 1–2 teaspoons of Neem Pan Powder with rose water, plain water or dahi (curd) into a smooth paste. Apply to clean skin, leave 10–15 minutes, then rinse with cool water. Use 1–2 times a week.
As a hair & scalp mask: blend 2–3 tablespoons with water or a little coconut oil into a paste, apply to scalp and lengths, leave 20–30 minutes, then wash off with a mild shampoo.
Classical internal use: in Ayurveda, neem leaf is also taken internally in small amounts as a bitter krimighna and rakta-shodhana. Because it is a strong bitter, internal use should be brief and only under the guidance of a qualified Ayurvedic physician.
Who can use it
Suitable for adults as part of a daily skin and hair care routine. For external use it suits most skin and scalp types — patch-test first if your skin is sensitive. If you are pregnant, lactating, taking any medication or managing a health condition, consult your physician before any internal use.
Safety information
For external preparations, avoid contact with the eyes and rinse well. Neem is a potent bitter; do not exceed traditional internal quantities, and keep internal use short-term and physician-guided. Read the label before use. Results may vary from person to person. Keep out of reach of children.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight. Keep the pack tightly closed to preserve freshness.
